1. Karen Lynch
CVS Health

Karen Lynch has worked her way up in corporate america over the past few decades steadily demonstrating and being recognized for her leadership talent. Today, she is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CVS Health, a healthcare innovator with a simple and clear purpose: helping people on their paths to better health.

Lynch first got her key leadership start in 2005 as President of Specialty Companies at CIGNA. From there, she went on to Magellan Health Services, before eventually rising to Executive Vice President of Local and Regional Businesses and Head of Coventry Integration at Aetna, her most recent position prior to joining CVS Health. Lynch graduated from Boston University with an MBA and from Boston College with an undergraduate degree in Accounting.

2. Gail Boudreaux
Anthem, Inc.

Gail Boudreaux is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Anthem, Inc., first joining the company in 2017. Anthem is a leading health benefits company dedicated to improving lives and communities and making healthcare simpler.

Previously, Boudreaux was CEO of UnitedHealthcare a role she took on after her time as EVP for External Operations and President at Health Care Service Corporation. Earlier in her career, she worked with Aetna, a CVS Health Company as an SVP of Group Insurance. Boudreaux earned an MBA from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College.

3. Mindy Grossman
WW (formerly WeightWatchers)

Mindy Grossman is the President and CEO of WW, first joining the company in 2017. WW is a global wellness technology company inspiring millions of people to adopt healthy habits for real life. They do this through engaging digital experiences, face-to-face workshops, and sustainable programs that encompass healthy eating, physical activity, and a positive mindset.

Prior to joining WW, she served as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of HSN. Prior to joining HSN, she served as CEO of IAC Retailing and was a Global Vice President of Nike. Earlier in her career, Grossman held various other executive positions at retail companies such as Polo Jeans Company, Ralph Lauren, Menswear for Warnaco, Fanatics, and Bloomin' Brands, Inc. Gross has degrees from The George Washington University and Manhattanville College.

4. Patty Maysent
UC San Diego Health System

Patty Maysent is the CEO of UC San Diego Health System. She first joined the company in 2012 as Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer. UC San Diego Health is repeatedly ranked the No. 1 health care system in San Diego, one of many reasons so many choose this system as their healthcare provider.

Previously, Maysent was a Chief Executive Officer at St. Joseph Health. Maysent earned an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.

5. Melinda Gates
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Melinda French Gates is the Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In developing countries, it focuses on improving people’s health and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty. In the United States, it seeks to ensure that all people, especially those with the fewest resources, have access to opportunities to help them succeed in school and life.

Gates is an American philanthropist, and a former GM at Microsoft, where she was responsible for the development of Cinemania, Encarta, Publisher, Microsoft Bob, Money, Works (Macintosh), and Word. She worked on Expedia, which became one of the most popular travel booking websites. In the early 1990s, she was appointed GM of Information Products. Gates has a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s in Computer Science, both from Duke University.

6. Sarah Krevans
Sutter Health

Sarah Krevans is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sutter Health, an integrated network delivering accessible, high-quality, and life-saving healthcare when people need it most. Krevans has over 35 years in the hospital and healthcare industry, having begun her career in 1986.

Before joining Sutter Health, Krevans was a Senior Vice President and an Area Manager at Kaiser Permanente. Prior to those positions, she worked as Deputy Director at Maine Bureau of Medical Services. Krevans graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with an MBA and MPH and completed her undergraduate work at Boston University.

7. Penny Wheeler
Allina Health

Penny Wheeler is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Allina Health, first joining the company in 2013. Allina Health helps people every day on their path to better health by guiding, motivating, comforting, and inspiring. They are an all-in-one healthcare management solution for individuals and families.

Previously, Wheeler was a physician at Women's Health Consultants. Wheeler earned an MD from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

8. Nancy Brown
American Heart Association

Nancy Brown is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Heart Association (AHA). The AHA’s purpose is to help Americans live heart-healthy and prevent America's No. 1 and No. 5 killers--heart disease and stroke. Under her leadership, the AHA has become a global health authority on cardiovascular and brain health as well as overall health and well-being. Brown has over 35 years in the health, wellness, and fitness industry. She began her career in 1985.

Before joining the AHA, Brown was a Director of Development and Deputy Director of Endowment Campaigns at Michigan Cancer Foundation. Before that, she worked as a Special Events Director at Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital. She is currently a leader with the World Economic Forum (WEF), where she serves as a member and immediate past co-chairman of the Health & Healthcare Governors Community. She is a founding partner and global advisory board member for the WEF Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and executive board member of the Global Coalition for Value in Healthcare. Additionally, Brown is a member of the board of advisors for the Social Determinants of Health Platform. Brown graduated from Central Michigan University.

9. Cindy Miller
Stericycle

Cindy Miller began her professional career over 13 years ago. Today, she is the Chief Executive Officer of Stericycle, an industry-leading compliance company for healthcare organizations, patients, and commercial businesses of every size, serving customers in the U.S. and 17 countries across the globe.

Miller first got her start in 2008 as a Managing Director at UPS South Europe, Middle East & Africa. Miller graduated from Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in Business/Humanities.

10. Kristin Dietzler
Carestream

Kristin Dietzler is the President of Americas Regions of Carestream. Carestream provides imaging and IT systems for sectors ranging from medical and life sciences research to advanced materials production. Dietzler has over 14 years in the medical device industry. She began her career in 2007.

Before joining Carestream, Dietzler was a Vice President and General Manager at Covidien. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration-Marketing and Management from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame.

11. Kelly Bliss
Teladoc Health

Kelly Bliss began her professional career over 21 years ago. Today, she is the President of US Group Health of Teladoc Health. Teladoc Health is on a mission to empower all people everywhere to live healthier lives by transforming the healthcare experience.

Bliss first got her start in 2000 as an Associate Principal at TRO Jung|Brannen. From there, she went on to InterSystems, before eventually rising to Chief of Staff at Best Doctors, her most recent position prior to joining Teladoc Health. Bliss graduated from Nichols College with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Psychology.

12. Tiffanie Burkhalter
VSP Global

Tiffanie Burkhalter is the President of VSP Ventures of VSP Global. She first joined the company in 2011 as Technical Accounting and Valuation Manager. VSP Global is more than just vision insurance, they offer careers spanning the technology, health, and fashion industries.

During her 10 years with VSP Global, Burkhalter climbed from Senior Director of Finance to VP of eCommerce, and to COO before moving up to President. Prior to VSP Global, Burkhalter was a Manager at Ernst & Young. Burkhalter graduated from California State University-Sacramento.

13. Paige Franklin Mankovich
Aetna, a CVS Health Company

Paige Franklin Mankovich is the Chief Operating Officer of Aetna, a CVS Health Company. She first joined the company in 2017 as a Plan Compliance Officer. Aetna is building a healthier world by making healthcare easy, affordable, and all about the consumer.

Previously, Mankovich was a Corporate Counsel for Compliance and Government Affairs at Kentucky Employers'​ Mutual Insurance and before that an Associate Attorney at Phillips Parker Orberson & Arnett. Mankovich earned a JD from the University of Kentucky College of Law and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.

14. Becky Kuhn
Banner Health

Becky Kuhn is the Chief Operating Officer of Banner Health. At Banner Health, everyday health is still important to ensure the continuation of getting the care individuals need. They are practicing rigorous safety measures at all facilities, as well as offering telehealth. She began her career in 1987.

Before joining Banner Health, Kuhn was a Chief Executive Officer at Paradise Valley Hospital and before that, various administrator roles at Samaritan Health System. Kuhn graduated from the University of Arizona with a master's degree in Nursing Education and from Arizona State University with an undergraduate degree in Nursing.

15. Ashley McEvoy
Johnson & Johnson

Ashley McEvoy is the Executive Vice President and Worldwide Chairman of Medical Devices at Johnson & Johnson. Johnson & Johnson believes good health is the foundation of vibrant lives, thriving communities, and forward progress. That’s why for more than 130 years, they have aimed to keep people well at every age and every stage of life.

McEvoy has spent nearly 15 years with Johnson & Johnson and oversaw the acquisition and integration of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in Communications/Business.

16. Diane Comer
Kaiser Permanente

Diane Comer is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Technology Officer of Kaiser Permanente. Kaiser Permanente is a healthcare provider of integrated managed care consortium and not-for-profit health plans. Comer has over 13 years in the hospital and healthcare industry. She began her career in 2008.

Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Comer was an SVP of Health Plan IT at Kaiser Permanente IT. Comer graduated from Golden Gate University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management.

17. Lisa Earnhardt
Abbott

Lisa Earnhardt began her professional career over 25 years ago. Today, she is the Executive Vice President of Abbott. Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life through their portfolio of life-changing technologies.

Earnhardt first got her start in 1996 in various sales & marketing roles, CRM & CS at Boston Scientific, from there she went on to President & CEO at Intersect ENT, Inc., her most recent position prior to joining Abbott. Earnhardt graduated from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with an MBA and from Stanford University with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering.

18. Adrienne Boissy
Cleveland Clinic

Adrienne Boissy is the Staff Neurologist of Cleveland Clinic. Cleveland Clinic is a non-profit medical center that combines clinical and hospital care with research and education. Boissy has over 12 years in the hospital and healthcare industry. She began her career in 2009.

Boissy graduated from Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University with an MD and from Boston University with an undergraduate degree.

19. Sandra Guerra
Centene Corporation

Sandra Guerra is the Chief Medical Officer of Centene Corporation, first joining the company in 2021. Centene Corporation is transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.

Previously, Guerra was the VP and Chief Medical Officer at Humana Government Business, and before that a Regional Medical Director at the Texas Department of State Health Services. Earlier in her career, she worked with San Antonio Metropolitan Health District as a Medical Director. Guerra earned an MD from Texas A&M University, a master's degree in Public Health and an undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Relationships from The University of Texas.

20. Tracy Anderson
Tracy Anderson Method

Tracy Anderson is the Founder of the Tracy Anderson Method. The brand houses the largest bank of fitness content researched and created by Tracy Anderson, online studio streaming workouts, state-of-the-art exercise studios, customized DVD fitness programs, and innovations in custom machinery and equipment. Anderson has gym locations across the world and has authored three books over the past two decades. Prior to founding the Tracy Anderson Method, she was a Studio Manager and dancer, studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.

21. Marcela del Carmen
Massachusetts General Hospital

Marcela del Carmen is the Chief Medical Officer of Massachusetts General Hospital. Mass General is the #1 research hospital in America and the only hospital to be recognized across all 16 specialties assessed by U.S. News & World Report.

del Carmen is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons, and a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the International Gynecologic Cancer Society, and the New England Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. Dr. del Carmen has been a member of the Ovarian Cancer Committee of the Gynecologic Oncology Group and currently serves on several committees in the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. del Carmen graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with an MPH and from Harvard School of Public Health with a master's degree in Public Health.

22. Elizabeth Shih
Dignity Health

Elizabeth Shih is the EVP, Chief Administrative Officer, and Special Assistant to the President of Dignity Health. Dignity Health provides quality, compassionate health care at more than 40 hospitals and care centers that are serving communities across California, Arizona, and Nevada every minute of every day.

Before joining Dignity Health, Shih was an Executive Vice President of Operations at the Western Division of Sutter Health. Shih graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with an MSSW and an undergraduate degree in Social Work.

23. Debra Canales
Providence St. Joseph Health

Debra Canales began her professional career over 24 years ago. Today, she is the Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer of Providence St. Joseph Health. At Providence, they are firm in the belief that health is a human right.

Canales first got her start in 1997 as a Vice President of Human Resources at Compaq Computer Corporation. From there, she went on to Centura Health, before eventually rising to Executive Vice President and Chief Culture/Talent Effectiveness Officer at CHE Trinity Health Inc., her most recent position prior to joining Providence St. Joseph Health. Canales graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in Management.

24. Marialena Murphy
Mayo Clinic

Marialena Murphy began her professional career over 30 years ago. Today, she is the Chief Nursing Officer of Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic is inspiring hope and contributing to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient.

Murphy first got her start in 1991 as a Registered Nurse at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. From there, she went on to Prescott Outpatient Surgical Center, before eventually rising to a Faculty Associate at Watson Caring Science Institute, her most recent position prior to joining Mayo Clinic. Murphy graduated from Grand Canyon University with an MS in Nursing Education and from the University of Saint Francis with an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration and Management.

25. June Komar
Scripps Health

June Komar is the Corporate Executive Vice President, Strategy and Administration of Scripps Health. Scripps Health is a non-profit integrated health care system based in San Diego, California. Scripps is regularly recognized as one of the nation’s best health care systems by Fortune, U.S. News & World Report, Working Mother magazine and The Advisory Board. Komar has over 27 years in the healthcare industry. She began her career in 1994.

26. Patricia Lewis
UnitedHealth Group

Patricia Lewis is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of UnitedHealth Group. UnitedHealth Group is a healthcare company that offers insurance products and services for everyone. Lewis has over 32 years in the hospital & health care industry. She began her career in 1989.

Before joining UnitedHealth Group, Lewis was a Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Lockheed Martin and before that a Vice President of Human Resources- Diversity and Employee experience at IBM Corporation. Earlier in her career, she worked with DuPont as a Global HR Manager. Lewis graduated from the University of Bridgeport with an undergraduate degree in Management, Industrial Relations.

27. Laura Mauri
Medtronic

Laura Mauri is the Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical and Regulatory Officer of Medtronic. Medtronic develops and manufactures medical device technologies and therapies to treat chronic diseases worldwide. Mauri has over 25 years in the medical device industry. She began her career in 1996.

Before joining Medtronic, Mauri was a physician at Brigham and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Mauri graduated from Harvard Medical School with an MD, from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology and from Harvard College with an undergraduate degree in Biochemical Sciences.

28. Liz Foshage

Liz Foshage is the Executive VP and CFO of Ascension. She first joined the company in 1992 as Vice President of Finance. Ascension is a faith-based healthcare organization dedicated to transformation through innovation across the continuum of care. As one of the leading non-profit and Catholic health systems in the U.S.

Stein first got her start in 1993 as a Team Relations Leader at Target. From there, she went on to American Express, before eventually rising to Senior Manager of Human Resources at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, her most recent position prior to joining IQVIA. Stein graduated from St. Cloud State University with an undergraduate degree in Management.

30. Carrie Eglinton Manner
Quest Diagnostics

Carrie Eglinton Manner is Senior Vice President of Advanced Diagnostics for Quest Diagnostics. Quest Diagnostics empowers people to take action to improve health outcomes. The company offers physicians the broadest test menu, is a pioneer in developing innovative new tests, is the leader in cancer diagnostics, provides anatomic pathology services, and interpretive consultation through its medical & scientific staff of about 900 M.D.s & Ph.D.s.

Prior to joining Quest Diagnostics in 2017, Manner spent two decades with GE Healthcare. She most recently served as President and CEO of GE Healthcare’s Detection & Guidance Solutions business. Manner holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. She is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

31. Yin Becker
Stryker

Yin Becker is the Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Stryker. She first joined the company in 1998 as Vice President of Healthcare Innovations. Stryker is driven to make healthcare better by advancing medical technologies through innovative products and services in orthopaedics, spine, and neurotechnologies.

Previously, Becker was a Senior Manager of Sales Services at Pfizer and before that, a Human Resource Manager at Macy’s Inc. Becker earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rider University.

32. Darleen Caron
Siemens Healthineers

Darleen Caron is the Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director of Siemens Healthineers. Siemens Healthineers is a team of around 65,000 highly dedicated employees worldwide who are innovating every day, truly shaping the future of healthcare. Caron has over 30 years in the healthcare industry. She began her career in 1991.

Before joining Siemens Healthineers, Caron was an Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at LyondellBasell and before that an EVP in Global Human Resources at SNC-Lavalin. Caron graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

33. Audrey Andrews

Audrey Andrews began her professional career over 29 years ago. Today, she is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Tenet Healthcare Corporation is one of the largest investor-owned health care delivery systems in the nation.

Andrews first got her start in 1992 as an Associate Attorney of Corporate/Securities Group at Locke Lord LLP. From there she went on to Assistant General Counsel at M.A.P.A. Inc., her most recent position prior to joining Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Andrews graduated from The University of Texas School of Law with a KD in law and from The University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in Government.

34. Elizabeth McCombs
BD

Beth McCombs began her professional career over 22 years ago. Today, she serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer for BD, a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. She is also a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.

McCombs joined BD in 2019 to serve as Senior Vice President, R&D for the Medical Segment. She began her career with J&J as an R&D design engineer and eventually rose to Director for the J&J Corporate Office of Science and Technology, followed by Vice President of R&D for J&J’s Sports Medicine business, and then Vice President, Surgical Innovation. Prior to joining BD, McCombs most recently served as Vice President, R&D for Ethicon. McCombs is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she earned both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, she received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

35. Wendy Carruthers

Wendy Carruthers is the Senior Vice President of HR of Boston Scientific. Boston Scientific is an innovator of medical solutions that improve the health of patients around the world. Carruthers has over 26 years in the medical device industry. She began her career in 1995.

Before joining Boston Scientific, Carruthers was a VP of Human Resources for Europe at Cable & Wireless and before that, an HR Director in France at Diageo. Carruthers graduated from The University of Salford with an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages.

36. Kathleen Gallo
Northwell Health

Kathleen Gallo is the Executive Vice President and Chief Learning Officer of Northwell Health. Northwell Health is a network of collaborators, research pioneers, entrepreneurs, and educators—76,000 strong—caring for millions of patients each year and creating a brighter tomorrow. Gallo has over 25 years in the healthcare industry. She began her career in 1996.

Gallo graduated from Adelphi with a Ph.D. in Nursing, an MBA from Excelsior College, an MS in nursing from Stony Brook University and from the University of the State of New York with an undergraduate degree in Nursing.

37. Noelle Eder

Noelle Eder is the Global Chief Information Officer of Cigna. Every day they are helping to improve the health, well-being, and peace of mind of those they serve. Eder has over 21 years in the health, wellness, and fitness industry. She began her career in 2000.

Before joining Cigna, Eder was an Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer at Hilton, and before that an Executive Vice President and Chief Card Customer Experience Officer at Capital One. Earlier in her career, she worked with Teknowledge Corporation as Vice President and Director of Client Services. Eder graduated from Boston University.

38. Suzanne Sawyer
Johns Hopkins Medicine

Suzanne Sawyer is the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Johns Hopkins Medicine is one of the leading health care systems in the U.S, combining research, teaching, and patient care.

Before joining Johns Hopkins Medicine, Sawyer was a Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, and before that a Vice President of Portfolio Marketing at IBM Watson Health. Earlier in her career, she worked with the National Wildlife Federation as a Director of Institutional & Individual Development. Sawyer graduated from Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in Foreign Service.

39. Lisa Abbott

Lisa Abbott began her professional career over 25 years ago. Today, she is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Community Affairs of Lifespan. Lifespan is delivering award-winning healthcare across the state of Rhode Island through dozens of locations.

Abbott first got her start in 1996 as a Human Resources Manager at NYSEG. From there, she went on to Weill Cornell Medical College, before eventually rising to Chief Human Resource Officer at Penn St Hershey Medical Center, her most recent position prior to joining Lifespan. Abbott graduated from Binghamton University - School of Management with an MBA and from State University of New York College at Cortland with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences.

40. Michele Holcomb
Cardinal Health

Michele Holcomb began her professional career over 34 years ago. Today, she is the EVP, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer of Cardinal Health. Cardinal Health, Inc. is a distributor of pharmaceuticals, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products, and a provider of performance and data solutions for healthcare facilities.

Holcomb first got her start in 1987 as a chemist at Ciba-Geigy.
