Jennifer Aniston is an actress, film producer, businesswoman, and philanthropist. She was born on February 11, 1969 to actor John Aniston and actress Nancy Dow. She followed in her parents' footsteps and first started acting at the age of eleven. Later, she enrolled in Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. After graduating, she began working in off-Broadway productions. She did not find much success, however, in the early years of her career and supported herself with part-time jobs that included work as a telemarketer, bike messenger, and waitress.

All of that changed in 1994 when she auditioned for and won the role of Rachel Green on Friends, which went on to become one of the most successful and internationally-recognized sitcoms of all time. In 2003, she received five Primetime Emmy nominations and won for Lead Actress. That same year, she also won a Golden Globe award for best actress.

However, in 2019, she returned to the small screen, producing and starring in the Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show, her first main role in television since the conclusion of Friends in 2004.

Aniston also has experience behind the camera. In 2002, she founded the production company Plan B Entertainment with Brad Pitt. After their divorce, Plan B was dissolved and Aniston created Echo Films. Since its inception, Echo has released six films – with eleven more currently in development. The company has also released three television shows, of which one has been nominated for multiple Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.

In addition to being an accomplished actress and producer, Aniston is also a noteworthy businesswoman. And endorsement deals with skincare brand Aveeno, a stake in the haircare brand Living Proof, and her role of “chief creative officer” of wellness supplement brand Vital Proteins led to the September 2021 launch of her own beauty brand, LolaVie.
