Victoria Beckham may be the wife of international soccer start David Beckham, but she’s a globally recognized icon in her own right. A founding member of one of the most popular girl bands of all time, she is also a model, fashion designer, author, television star, an established entrepreneur with an entire brand empire, and a mother of four.

Beckham’s career launched in 1993 when she became known as Posh Spice of the girl power-pop group The Spice Girls. After selling more than 85 million records and getting married in 1999, she decided to shift her persona to that of a fashion star. She has since graced the covers of numerous fashion magazines, including W, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and many international editions of Vogue.

In 2004, Beckham designed a limited-edition fashion line for Rock & Republic called VB Rocks, which consisted mainly of jeans for the high-end market. This led to the launch of her own denim label in 2006 called dvb Style. This momentum continued with a cover of Vogue in April of 2008, and in September of that year her eponymous label was released. Victoria Beckham, the label, started off small, consisting of only herself and two others with a collection of ten dresses. But by 2011, the label had grown to include luxury handbags, eyewear, and fragrances. In 2014, her company grew to over 100 people, sales increased by 2,900%, and her workforce had grown by 3,233%. That year, she won Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. Beckham was also named Business Entrepreneur of the Year by the business magazine Management Today.

Victoria Beckham Beauty launched in 2019 and includes make-up and skincare products. Beckham describes it as “active and effective, but clean and kind.” Its focus is on clean luxury: her products are cruelty-free and sustainability-minded. Secondary packaging of the makeup is made from 100% post-consumer waste, while shipping materials are either recyclable or biodegradable. "First time around I felt famous, but now I feel successful," Beckham has said.
