Meet the Chapter Leaders of D.C.! Last week, we announced the inaugural class of Chapter Leaders for Women We Admire. Today, we are highlighting the incredible women of Washington, D.C. who serve as leaders in their communities. In addition to helping us shape in-person regional events and support new members, our Chapter Leaders will be featured at our upcoming national event on October 17.

Ilana Esterrich
Chief Financial Officer, Planned Parenthood Federation of America

Ilana Esterrich is an accomplished strategic and financial executive with extensive experience in strategy, finance and accounting, and operations. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring all people have access to the care and resources they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their futures. As CFO, she is responsible for the accounting, treasury, reporting & compliance, procurement, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and program and grants financial management functions. In addition, she works cross-collaboratively as a finance strategic business partner with the President/CEO and other executive leaders in global, strategy, programs, Human Resources, General Counsel, IT/IS and Tech, and Operations.

Prior to PPFA, she was the Chief Financial Officer at American Coatings Association (ACA), a 501(c)(6) trade association working to advance the needs of the paint and coatings industry. In addition, Ms. Esterrich was the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA), a national security and defense research institution. Ms. Esterrich has gained additional experience in consulting, operations, logistics, sales and marketing, and international operations through previous positions at Thomson-Reuters, General Mills, The Pillsbury Company, Computer Sciences Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand).

She is an Advisory Committee Member of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the CFO Leadership Council (CFOLC), sits on the 2023-2024 North American FP&A Advisory Council at the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), and is a Senior Member in the Fairfax Composite Squadron, National Capitol Wing, of Civil Air Patrol where she serves as the Logistics and Personnel/Administrative Officer for the squadron’s cadets and senior members. She is also a frequent public speaker on topics related to leadership, the future of the Office of the CFO, finance digital transformation, and other financial management topics for a variety of professional organizations.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Jennifer Joyce
Principal, EY

Jennifer Joyce is a Principal at EY, a global leader in assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, and tax services. As a leader in EY’s forensic and integrity services practice, Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience in the areas of Information Governance and eDiscovery consulting. She works with Fortune 500 companies to navigate the challenges related to information management, complex data privacy, and data protection requirements, as well as effective legal hold, preservation, and discovery response processes. Joyce also provides technology solutions and services to support companies during investigations, litigation, audits, and transactions and to resolve other business-critical issues. She is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to emerging technology, evolving regulations, and recent case law related to Information Governance and eDiscovery.

Jennifer joined EY in 2008 as a senior associate and spent the last decade leading talent initiatives that provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to her teams. She is a member of EY’s talent leadership team and has held various positions across EY’s professional women’s networks and DEI committees. Jennifer is a graduate of Syracuse University.
