Santander Consumer USA and the Santander Consumer USA Foundation have just announced grants totaling more than $1.7 million to support Dallas, Texas's social and economic growth. These contributions are a part of the foundation's commitment to help eleven organizations—four located in different locations in Texas, Arizona, and Florida, and seven headquartered in Dallas. The funding aligns with the foundation's five philanthropic pillars: educational mobility, physical mobility, economic mobility, sustainability, crisis, and resiliency. Key initiatives funded by the grant, include Dallas College’s entrepreneurship programs, the Connected Digital Ambassadors Program, transitional housing support, and job training for over 2,000 students. Additionally, grants will aid in promoting financial literacy and addressing economic and legal barriers for survivors of exploitation and trafficking.
