Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a distinguished English writer, producer, and actress celebrated for her impactful contributions to television and film. She gained prominence with Fleabag (2016−19), a critically acclaimed series she wrote and starred in, earning three Emmy Awards. The series originated from a one-woman show performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Waller-Bridge also created and adapted Killing Eve (2018−22) from Luke Jennings' novellas, further establishing her as a creative force. Her film work includes playing a droid in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) and contributing to the screenplay of No Time to Die (2021).

Raised in Ealing, London, Waller-Bridge attended St. Augustine’s Priory and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Frustrated by limited acting roles, she co-founded the theater company DryWrite with Vicky Jones, showcasing her writing talents. Her early career included various acting roles in projects like The Iron Lady (2011). She continued to make her mark by starring alongside Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023). Waller-Bridge remains a trailblazer in the entertainment industry, with upcoming projects such as adapting the Tomb Raider video game franchise into a television series.
