48. Chesley Gaddis
VP, Sales & Partner, Intrepid

Chesley Gaddis boasts nearly 20 years of experience in employee benefit consulting. In 2006, she began her career at Intrepid in an advocacy role, initially viewing it as a temporary role while searching for her “dream job.” However, she soon discovered that professional fulfillment stems from the people you work with rather than the specific tasks you perform. After being promoted to a consulting role, she realized it wasn't the right fit. Recognizing her unique strengths, Chesley created a role that leveraged her English and Creative Writing background to improve the communication and marketing of benefits to clients, becoming Intrepid’s Communications Director.

After a successful decade as Director of Communications, Intrepid’s president, Liz Frayer, encouraged her to transition into business development. Today, Chesley leads the sales team, focusing on building genuine relationships rather than pursuing quick sales. Her passion lies in connecting with people and fostering lasting relationships.

A lifelong Atlantan, Chesley resides in Inman Park with her husband, Owen, and their two children, Holland (6) and Hamilton (4). Chesley is a proud alumna of Sweet Briar College, an all-women’s liberal arts school, where she graduated in 2003 with a degree in English and Creative Writing, and learned the enduring value of female friendships and community.
