Sherika Ekpo

Sherika Ekpo is the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of Anaplan. She first joined the company in 2021. Anaplan is building a future where connected leaders and teams are able to constantly adapt, transform, and reinvent their businesses. They make it possible to share actionable insights, empower and unleash creativity, and drive innovation. With Anaplan, finance and operational leaders across the organization can model complex scenarios, forecast continuously with added intelligence, and make agile decisions with confidence. Ekpo is a passionate diversity, equity, and inclusion leader with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic human capital consulting and management. Ekpo has the ability to design and execute workplace diversity programs and product inclusion strategies that contribute to an organization's bottom line. She is a skilled facilitator and diversity champion who provides subject matter expertise to senior executives using evidence-based best practices to drive results. Previously, Ekpo was a global diversity and inclusion lead in artificial intelligence at Google, and before that, a head of people operations and diversity at United States Digital Service. Earlier in her career she worked with JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a business analyst. Ekpo earned an MBA in human capital and organizational development from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and an undergraduate degree in marketing from Howard University.
