As of July 1, 2024, Janet Truncale has been elected as the EY Global Chair and CEO, succeeding Carmine Di Sibio. Truncale serves as a Regional Managing Partner of the EY Americas financial services organization, leading a diverse team of over 14,000 professionals. With a career spanning three decades in the global financial services sector, she has provided Fortune 500 companies with assurance and consulting services. Additionally, Truncale has held the position of Managing Partner for Americas FSO Assurance, where she was responsible for the strategy, operations, and administration of 3,000 professionals and improved the quality of audits.
Throughout her career, Truncale has been a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has been actively involved in EY's global social equity task force and has championed numerous equity initiatives. Outside of EY, Truncale chairs the board of Women’s World Banking and serves on the boards of UNICEF USA and Liberty Science Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University.
