BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Sounds are set to launch an exciting new music series titled Courtney Love's Women in April 2024. This candid and raw series features the legendary Courtney Love sharing the soundtrack to her life, reflecting on the influential women in music who have shaped her journey, her sound, and her next chapter.

Over eight episodes, Courtney Love, the founder and lead singer of Hole, takes listeners on an intimate and unfiltered journey through her life, era by era, alongside her friend and renowned music-podcaster and writer, Rob Harvilla. The series promises to offer a unique and personal glimpse into Courtney's life as she celebrates women in music, exploring the music they made and the music that made them.

Samantha Moy, Head of BBC Radio 6 Music, expressed pride in having Courtney Love host this series, highlighting her iconic status and undeniable influence on music and culture over the decades. Moy also announced a special celebration on April 12th, marking the 30th anniversary of one of Courtney's most powerful works, Hole's 'Live Through This.' The schedule for that day will be dedicated to Courtney's music, her influences, and the artists she has inspired.

Throughout the series, Courtney reminisces about various aspects of her life, from her formative years discovering disco to her struggles with drug abuse, her acting career, and her relationship with Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
