Addie Teeters is the Vice President Marketing Communications for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Previously Teeters served as Head of Marketing Communications & Public Affairs for Ahlstrom, responsible for external communications, media relations, and public/government affairs for Ahlstrom’s North American and European based business area in addition to managing commercial sustainability and Chain-of-Custody Forest Certification. Teeters worked in the organization for nearly 18 years with similar roles in the legacy Expera Specialty Solutions and Thilmany Papers businesses. Prior to joining the paper industry Teeters was a journalist working in print and broadcast mediums, most recently with ABC news and previously Wisconsin Public Radio.

Interests

Teeters believes in contributing to communities and currently serves and has served on several nonprofit board of directors ranging from health and human service organizations to arts and inclusion efforts. She also believes in mentoring the next generation of women leaders and serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Women's Leadership through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
