Judy Ayala

Judy’s entrepreneur journey started at 10 years old, when I would sell limbers (natural flavored iced water) from the balcony of my parent’s home in Puerto Rico. I envisioned a quality product where customers where so satisfied that they would come out for more. Years later, and after several attempts, that vision evolved into having a company where we honed the best talents in each and everyone to solve customer’s most difficult challenges creating great satisfaction with it and a prosperous environment for all. That vision and the drive to make a difference, has been the foundation for Nueducation. With this foundation, her career spanned in the fields of psychology, human resources, sales and marketing, and technology. It was while at Blackboard working with the Colombian government in a program that provided online learning to millions of low-income Colombians, and with other higher education institutions across the globe, that she became acutely aware of the impact that education makes in people’s lives; not only economically but qualitatively. Later she joined Laureate Education, a $4B Certified B Corporations®, and the first Public Benefit Corporation publicly listed on any stock exchange in the world, as Global Director of Students Systems Platforms. Drawing from her experience in educational software, one her main accomplishments was to achieve the ambitious objective of rolling out an LMS system to a network of over 1 million students. Committed to create positive impacts through the use of technology, Judy founded Nueducation in 2010, where she has worked incessantly to facilitate the digital transformation and optimization of her customer’s services. With the basis that all failures are due to insufficient knowledge and that all problems are soluble, she fosters an environment for her team to express the best of their professional and personal abilities. Judy often reflects on her fortune of working with the best professionals in the tech industry, giving Nueducation the ability to empower and transform organizations services and experiences.
