Today, we are highlighting the incredible woman of New York who serves as a leader in her community. In addition to helping us shape in-person regional events and support new members, our Chapter Leaders will be featured at our upcoming national event on October 17.
Sophia Corona
Chief Financial Officer, tZERO Group
Sophia Corona is the Chief Financial Officer of tZERO. Prior to joining tZERO, Ms. Corona was a Management Consultant for RLN Consulting where she provided consulting services to various companies and advised entrepreneurs and C-suite executives on various matters including board and shareholder interaction, capital funding, product offerings, equity management, cashflow and budgetary discipline, new technology trends and long-term business strategy and planning. Prior to RLN Consulting, Ms. Corona was the Vice President of Corporate Development of ICE where she focused on investments, mergers and acquisitions, in addition to serving as Chief Operating Officer of Creditex, an ICE subsidiary acquired by ICE, where she oversaw the integration and development of Creditex’s brokerage business post-acquisition. Prior to ICE, Ms. Corona served as the Chief Financial Officer of Creditex prior to its being acquired by ICE. From 2001 through 2006, Ms. Corona was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Epsilon Interactive (F/K/A Bigfoot Interactive, Inc.). From 1996 through 2001, Ms. Corona was the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer of Visual Radio & Prism Communications Services, Inc. From 1993 through 1996, Ms. Corona served as Chief Financial Officer for Bromante Corp. (D/B/A Sirmos). From 1989 through 1993, Ms. Corona served as Corporate Controller for Ian Schrager Hotels. Ms. Corona began her career at Kamsky Associates, a division of American International Group, Inc., as a Controller. Ms. Corona holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
