Adriana Cisneros was elected as a Director by the Ford Motor Company board on July 11, 2024, thereby increasing the board's members to 15. Cisneros, the CEO of Cisneros Group, will serve on the Innovation and Policy committees, Nominating and Governance, and Sustainability. Executive Chair Bill Ford praised Cisneros “as a CEO who has successfully modernized a family-led business,” bringing valuable experience as Ford transforms to compete in a new era for the automotive industry. Cisneros has extensive board experience, serving as a Director of Mattel, AST Spacemobile, and the Paley Center for Media, and as a trustee of the Knight Foundation.

Under Adriana Cisneros' stewardship, the Cisneros Group, established in 1929 in Venezuela by her ancestor Diego Cisneros, has evolved from a material transport business to a global leader in digital advertising, media and entertainment, and real estate services. Since being appointed CEO in 2013, Cisneros has guided the company's significant diversification and growth. She is also an advocate for arts and education and is involved with institutions like the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Cisneros holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a master's degree in journalism from New York University, and she completed Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development.
