Cynthia Savard Saucier

Cynthia Savard Saucier is the Vice President of UX at Shopify and has been with the company since 2015. Shopify helps people achieve independence by making it easier to start, run, and grow a business through an all-in-one commerce platform. Saucier has always been passionate about human beings and their means of communication. She has always sought a deeper understanding of how people think, interact, and connect. Saucier is also the author of Tragic Design. Tragic Design examines real case studies that show how certain design choices adversely affected users and includes in-depth interviews with authorities in the design industry. She is regularly invited to speak at events around the world where she shares her point of view on all things design. Saucier graduated from the University of Montreal with a degree in industrial design.
