Joie Chung

Joie Chung is a UX and product design leader with over 17 years of experience in the tech industry and a proven track record of success in building healthy and effective teams. As a Senior Director of Product Design at Realtor.com, she currently leads a talented team of designers who are helping build products that improve the home buying and selling experience for both consumers and real estate agents. Prior to her current role, she led UX teams at Expedia Group to design solutions for property owners to easily manage their vacation rentals. Passionate about how design and tech can improve people's lives, Joie has worked on web & mobile apps across a variety of industries throughout her career, including sports, health, finance, logistics, energy, real estate, and travel. Joie is well-known for her ability to empower designers to grow in their careers while delivering impactful work, as well as mentoring managers to be effective, compassionate, and strategic leaders. Outside of work, she serves as an advisory board member and mentor at several tech organizations, participates in speaking engagements, and enjoys spending time outdoors on the trails. Joie graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Design from the University of Houston.
