Laura Kalcevic

Laura Kalcevic is a proven thought leader in the hospitality industry with a global track record of successful client outcomes for hotels and resorts. She is currently a Vice President for CBRE Hotels, bringing nearly 20 years of knowledge and expertise with a focus in hotel valuations, development advisory, acquisition due diligence, market forecasting, as well as consulting services. Laura has advised and performed work on over $5 billion in real estate hotel developments and transactions. She has experience working for other top real estate companies, such as JLL, STR (CoStar), and HVS, while being stationed in various offices throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Laura’s valuation and advisory proficiency ranges from ground-up developments to high-level renovations and repositioning, as well as portfolio acquisitions and operational forecasting. She is also currently a facilitator with Cornell University’s online program, teaching hotel and commercial real estate, and has been since 2018. Prior to joining the team at Cornell University, Laura taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at New York University’s Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality. She gained her undergraduate degree in geography from California University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in international tourism management from the University of Queensland in Australia.
