Martha McIver

Martha McIver is a culture creator, advocate for positive change, helps senior leadership achieve their business goals and brings care to corporate workplaces. She joined CBRE in 2009 as the VP Human Resources for Canada. In this role she is responsible for managing all aspects of Canadian HR support for the Advisory, Global Workplace Solutions, and Property Management business units. This includes initiatives to improve employee engagement as well as collaborate with America's People Centre of Excellence functions including recruitment, compensation, diversity & inclusion, benefits, payroll, talent management, and learning & development. Prior to joining CBRE, Martha was VP of human resources with Hewlett-Packard Canada, and VP of human resources for Agilent Technologies Canada. In addition to her Canadian HR experience Martha has HR experience working with leaders and employees in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Brazil. After graduating from Queens University with a degree in psychology, Martha held recruitment and compensation roles for a Canadian consumer goods company. She has her CHRL designation from the Human Resources Professional Association.
