Mary Elizabeth Tillman Barwick

Mary Elizabeth T. Barwick, Vice President of Strategic Engagement, is responsible for leading the company's engagement on critical strategic initiatives, including their focus on Tobacco Harm Reduction. She is tasked with driving new avenues for engagement and increasing visibility with external stakeholders, legislators, regulators and organizations that enhance Harm Reduction policies. Prior to her role as VP, Barwick was a senior director of state government relations. She joined Reynolds in 2015. Prior to Reynolds, she managed her own consulting company, 2468 Partnership Inc., and worked with corporate, non-profit and campaign management clients. Her client list included Reynolds, Genentech, Rep. Patrick McHenry, Rep. Tom Latham, Rep. Chris Lee, The Oorbeek Group, BIPAC, Common Threads and Immigration Works. While living in Washington, DC, Barwick worked for UST and Wal-Mart after leaving Capitol Hill where she served under U.S. Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC). Barwick graduated from Appalachian State University.
