Its economy is diverse and includes a mix of industries such as technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and services. This year’s list celebrates the rich history of women leaders across various sectors contributing to the city's diverse community. Through strategic decision-making, innovative practices, and community engagement, these women have important roles within their organizations as Senior Vice Presidents, Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Executive Officers, and more, shaping the political, social, and economic landscape of Portland and the surrounding region.

Some standout women on this year's list include Elsa Shapiro, Managing Partner of Shapiro Neuropsychology Consulting, who contributes extensive experience from her renowned research in neurocognitive and neurobehavioral manifestations of genetic neurodegenerative disorders. Another notable figure, Julie Pylypczak, serves as the Vice President and Senior Client Solutions Director of Robert Half, the world's foremost specialized talent solutions firm. Leveraging her technical background and strong interpersonal skills, she assists financial executives with their resourcing needs. Meanwhile, Monique Matheson, the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Nike, plays a crucial role in leading business growth and transformation, overseeing the company's strategic global HR strategy.

1. Mary Coucher
Vice President of Sales, IBM Partner Ecosystem, IBM

Mary Coucher is the Vice President of Sales at IBM Partner Ecosystem. She has worked at IBM for more than 20 years and is currently serving as the worldwide IBM Ecosystem Sales Vice President. There, she markets the myriad analytics and data-oriented products and solutions IBM offers to enterprises around the world.  

Prior to Coucher’s current assignment, she was living in New York City and managing IBM's global sales channel for the Systems group, managing a dynamic international group of executives who are driving results for their clients and business partners. She is passionate about solving client problems and growing IBM's footprint of infrastructure solutions via the hybrid cloud for Storage, Power, and System Z.

From 2015 - 2018, she completed a three-year international assignment for IBM in Shanghai, China, running IBM's Technology Partner business. It was an exciting experience to work with their Greater China Group clients and business partners. In a past role, she was IBM's senior state executive, as well as senior location executive for Oregon, and managed their global Patent Licensing and IP Licensing team. 

Coucher also serves on the Oregon State University Foundation’s Audit and Finance committee. Coucher graduated from the University of Portland with an MBA and from Oregon State University with an undergraduate degree ChE.



2. Kristin Valente
Accounts Managing Partner, US West Region, EY

Kristin Valente serves as the Accounts Managing Partner for the EY US-West Region, where she leads teams in delivering value and distinctive service across thousands of clients. She has delivered difference-making services, ideas, and insights to executives at leading consumer and technology companies. Previous EY roles include global client service partner, Americas innovative assurance leader, technology risk advisor, and auditor. She’s served the firm from five different US offices. EY exists to build a better working world, helping create long-term value for clients, people, and society and build trust in the capital markets. Enabled by data and technology, diverse EY teams in over 150 countries provide trust through assurance and help clients grow, transform, and operate.

Innovation and transformation are at the core of her 30-year consulting career – pioneering solutions and capabilities, serving clients’ growth agendas, and delivering value to the world’s most innovative companies. A skilled strategic transformation architect, Valente envisions solutions to address business challenges at the intersection of business processes and technology. She is respected by clients to be a critical success factor in their high-stakes initiatives. 

Valente has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Santa Clara University, California, and is a licensed CPA. She is a strategist and innovator, as well as an idea instigator, risk-taker, and changemaker. She is a believer in the diversity of thought, a wife, mother of three, and sister to 12. Valente is a chef, artist, and avid advocate for at-risk youth.



3. Liz Bohannon
Founder and CEO, Sseko Designs

Liz Bohannon is the Founder and CEO of Sseko Designs. She founded the company in 2008. Sseko Designs is a socially conscious lifestyle brand using business to create community and opportunity for women across the globe. After buying a one-way plane ticket to Uganda, Liz started Sseko for women in East Africa, while producing a brand of beautifully designed and sustainably conscious products from jewelry to clothes, shoes, and handbags. 

Sseko is a verified member of the Fair Trade Federation and their products, model, and mission have been featured by Vogue, Redbook, Shape, Fitness, O Magazine, Fast Company, People Magazine, Huffington Post, and Daily Candy. They've generated economic opportunity for thousands of women across the globe and enabled hundreds of female scholars in developing economies to pursue their dreams and become leaders in their community and their world. 

As an entrepreneur, international speaker, and leader, she shares uncommon ideas toward success like, Stop Trying to Find Your Passion… Create It. Liz continues to manage 100s of employees across multiple continents, and her mindset sets her apart as courageous, creative, and effective. Earlier in her career she worked with Black Repertory Theatre as a public relations assistant. Bohannon earned an MA from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Among other notable honors, Liz was named a Top Three Transformation Leader by John Maxwell, Forbes listed her as a top 20 public speaker in the US, and Bloomberg Businessweek named Sseko as a top social enterprise to watch. Liz now splits her time between Uganda and Portland, Oregon, where she and her husband Ben run Sseko Designs and raise their two young sons.



4. Deborah Graziano
Senior Vice President, Credit Risk Executive, Bank of America

Deborah Graziano is the Senior Vice President and Credit Risk Executive of Bank of America.  Bank of America is a North Carolina-based financial institution that provides personal and commercial banking products and services for individuals and businesses. Graziano is a highly effective credit risk management professional with a diverse background across commercial and corporate banking platforms. She has extensive experience in credit risk and portfolio management, domestic and international lending, and credit policy. Her vast career experience has been gained across a broad range of clients, industries, and types of credit exposure. She demonstrates leadership skills that have resulted in highly motivated credit and underwriting teams, from her deep understanding of both risk and reward and the ability to work across functional organizations to reach consensus.

Before joining Bank of America, Graziano was a private mortgage banker at Northeast Residential Mortgage and Gateway Funding Diversified Mortgage Services. Graziano graduated from Thunderbird School of Global Management with an MBA and from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo with an undergraduate degree in agriculture management.



5. Bree Casart
Chief Marketing Officer, Shutterfly

Bree Casart serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Shutterfly, Snapfish, and Spoonflower. Most recently, Casart also served as the head of digital for Hanna Andersson where she oversaw marketing and e-commerce for the beloved digital-only children’s apparel retailer. Shutterfly is a California-based holding company that owns and operates brands in fields such as photography, interior decor, and equipment rental.

In addition to her experience at Hanna Andersson, Casart brings expertise from iconic brands like Nike, J.Crew, and West Elm, where she has led efforts to significantly grow their digital revenues through data-driven marketing and consumer-focused experiences. As Nike’s global senior director of consumer experiences, Casart oversaw the extension of Nike’s loyalty program to their wholesale partners, launching their first partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods, and bringing the benefits of being a Nike member to the consumer, wherever they shop. Prior to Nike, Casart was the vice president of performance marketing at J.Crew where she helped to reposition the brand’s marketing strategy through a multi-touch attribution lens, implement new technologies focused on personalization, and rehabilitate the SEO program. Previous to J.Crew, Casart was the vice president of marketing and e-commerce for home furnishing retailer West Elm, where she led the brand’s personalization efforts, launched its first-ever integrated brand marketing campaign, and spearheaded a ground-breaking mobile experience redesign.

Casart holds an MBA in Marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree in international political economy from Colorado College. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and 7-year-old son, two cats, and a very large English Mastiff.



6. Kimberly Fuson
Chief Executive Officer, Cedar Sinai Park

Kimberly Fuson is the Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Sinai Park. Cedar Sinai Park provides residential and community-based care to their elders and adults with special needs, allowing them to live with comfort, independence, and dignity in a manner and an environment based on Jewish values. Fuson has 30 years of experience. She began her career in 1993. Fuson’s passion for culture change and social justice to assure access to comprehensive, quality, and affordable healthcare commenced in 1990 when she discovered her secret identity as a change agent. Her guises include social worker, private case manager, guardian ad-litem, administrator, chief program officer, chief operating officer, executive director, and now, Chief Executive Officer at Cedar Sinai Park.

Before joining Cedar Sinai Park, Fuson was an executive director in Las Ventanas at Summerlin of HumanGood, and before that a senior director of long-term care and critical access at Maui Health. Earlier in her career she worked with Washington County Circuit Court as a court visitor and guardian ad litem. Fuson graduated from Portland State University and the University of Oregon with an undergraduate degree in sociology and women's studies.



7. Catherine Needham
Head of Internal & Corporate Communications for Americas, Wipro Limited

Catherine Needham is the Head of Internal and Corporate Communications for the Americas of Wipro Limited. Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on building innovative solutions that address clients’ most complex digital transformation needs. Leveraging their holistic portfolio of capabilities in consulting, design, engineering, and operations, they help clients realize their boldest ambitions and build future-ready, sustainable businesses. 

Needham is a passionate communications leader with more than 30 years of experience developing strategic content and communications programs for high-powered teams in high-tech industries. She has deep industry experience in the development of marketing content for technology companies ranging from healthcare start-ups to SaaS organizations in the financial and telecom industries. As an integral driver of lead generation programs, she’s built highly tuned sales and marketing processes to deliver actionable content, resulting in a productive and measurable marketing funnel.

Before joining Wipro Limited, Needham was a director of content strategy and creative services at Smarsh and before that a VP of marketing at Springbrook Software. Earlier in her career she worked with InFocus Corporation as a worldwide brand manager. Needham graduated from Marylhurst University with an MBA and from Oregon State University with an undergraduate degree in technical journalism.



8. Tosin Abiodun
Diversity and Inclusion Partner, Intel

Tosin Abiodun began her professional career 16 years ago. Today, she is the Diversity and Inclusion Partner of Intel. Intel is a California-based multinational company that designs and manufactures products such as microprocessors, motherboards, and storage devices for PCs and smartphones. 

Abiodun is a change agent, equity strategist, and diversity, inclusion, and belonging practitioner focused on addressing racial and systemic inequities, building fair, diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations, and helping people find purpose, joy, meaning, and fulfillment at work.

She is a people-centered leader who believes strongly in coaching and inclusive leadership.

Abiodun first got her start in 2007 as a conference events coordinator and host at the University of Texas at Austin. From there, she went on to the World Affairs Council of Oregon, before eventually rising to equity and inclusion manager at the Portland Bureau of Transportation, her most recent position prior to joining Intel. Abiodun graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a PhD and from The University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in African history.



9. Raejeanne Skillern 
Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Amazon Web Services

Raejeanne Skillern is the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Amazon Web Services. She first joined the company in 2023. Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began exposing key infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services now widely known as cloud computing. The ultimate benefit of cloud computing, and AWS, is the ability to leverage a new business model and turn capital infrastructure expenses into variable costs. Businesses no longer need to plan and procure servers and other IT resources weeks or months in advance. Using AWS, businesses can take advantage of Amazon's expertise and economies of scale to access resources when their business needs them, delivering results faster and at a lower cost.

Skillern spent more than a decade at Intel, most recently as president of the chip giant’s cloud service provider business. She joined manufacturing giant Flex in 2019 and led its communications and enterprise computing group. Skillern earned an MBA from Marylhurst University and an undergraduate degree in computer engineering and mathematics from Pepperdine University.



10. Jensine Larsen
Founder and CEO, World Pulse

Jensine Larsen is an award-winning digital entrepreneur, international journalist, and speaker. She is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of World Pulse. World Pulse is powered by more than 109,000 women from 200+ countries, as a state-of-the-art, multi-lingual social networking platform for women who are speaking for themselves, growing movements, and collectively improving the lives of 24.8 million people. Jensine is a leader in digital communication, women’s leadership, online communities, reciprocal philanthropy, and strategic partnerships. She founded World Pulse magazine in 2004, growing that platform into WorldPulse.org, an independent global social network and leader in grassroots women’s digital empowerment training. For 15+ years, Jensine has made it her job to listen to women in forgotten communities around the world. She is a frequent speaker on how social networking and technological innovation are powerful accelerators for women’s global power, appearing in media and on stages from NPR and BBC to TED as well as the United Nations. 

Over the last decade, Jensine has assembled talented teams to develop World Pulse magazine, a research-validated methodology for women's digital empowerment along with digital skills training with frontline women change makers. With her finger on the pulse of women's voices globally she writes and speaks on the power of technology to speed up global gender justice - and how we can all be a part of this grassroots revolution. She's the recipient of multiple global awards and fellowships, including the United Nations Media Social Impact Award, UNESCO Prize for Gender, Wellbeing, and Cultures of Peace, and the Academy for Systems Change - a ten-year fellowship for the planet's next generation of system change leaders. Larsen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an undergraduate degree in comparative international studies.



11. Kaitlin Christine
Founder and CEO, Gabbi

Kaitlin Christine is a breast cancer survivor and ovarian cancer previvor who has made it her life's work to empower women to understand their bodies and advocate for themselves. She is the CEO and Founder at Gabbi, Inc. where she and the Gabbi team are on a mission to decrease delayed diagnosis. 

As the driving force bringing an innovative B2B2C FemTech tool to market, she is in charge of the vision and execution. With early market validation, she has worked tirelessly to add the best talent to her team, including an all-female and minority leadership team. With extensive market research, she was able to strategically determine the business model, bootstrap and utilize capital efficiently while creating partnerships in the healthcare industry leading to a contract with a large health system before they even had a product. 

Kaitlin has spent over 9 years in women’s health—working for leading nonprofits and as a sought-after national speaker. She was the youngest hire for the world’s leading genetic testing company, Myriad Genetics. So far, she has brought Gabbi through a successful oversubscribed first round of funding in early 2021 and has pulled together a team of highly qualified experts and advisors. Kaitlin has also been selected as Oregon’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2021, winner of the HITLAB Women’s Health Tech Challenge and HITLAB’s audience choice award. 

Christine graduated from the University of Denver with an undergraduate degree in theatre. Kaitlin Christine lives in Portland, Oregon. She frequents the Portland State Farmers Market every Saturday and in her free time is a yoga instructor, avid hiker, and wine aficionado.



12. Betsy Stumme
Executive Vice President, Customer Experience & Operational Efficiency, The Partners Group

Betsy Stumme is the Executive Vice President of Customer Experience and Operational  Efficiency at The Partners Group, one of the largest independent firms in the Northwest. She first joined the company in 2018 as managing director of operations. 

Betsy Stumme joined TPG five years ago this month to oversee strategic planning and execution, change management, business transformation, and process improvement. Now she is part of the First Team leadership group. Stumme is a trusted and results-oriented business management executive with demonstrated success in strategic and operational planning, leading change, organizational design and restructuring, project and program management, and talent management.

Previously, Stumme was a strategy and business transformation consultant at Kalispell Consulting Group and before that an SVP of business management at LPL Financial. Earlier in her career she worked with Franklin Templeton Investments as an operations specialist. Stumme earned an undergraduate degree in economics and psychology from Smith College.



13. Trish Damkroger
Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Trish Damkroger is the Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. She first joined the company in 2022. HPE is a Texas-based cloud technology company offering solutions such as infrastructure development, Internet of Things management, and data optimization for IT environments. Damkroger leads the end-to-end product strategy for the organization, driving efforts to scale the business to enable the next wave of growth and innovation.

Trish brings more than 30 years of HPC leadership and expertise within the public and private sectors. Most recently, she was the vice president and general manager of HPC at Intel where she led strategic initiatives to deliver accelerators and memory optimized for supercomputers, including exascale-class supercomputers. These initiatives include a significant collaboration with the US Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory to commit to delivering future generations of HPC and AI architecture for the upcoming Aurora exascale supercomputer, which will be built by HPE, in partnership with Intel. 

Prior to Intel, Trish was the deputy associate director of computation at the US DOE’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) where she led a group of more than 1,000 engineers and scientists focused on supercomputing efforts. In her previous roles, Trish has been a strong partner to HPE’s HPC team members for many years, having jointly designed and developed powerful supercomputing solutions that have made breakthroughs in science and engineering.

Earlier in her career she worked with Sandia National Laboratories as a program manager of advanced and exploratory weapon system programs. Damkroger earned an MS from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in electric engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.



14. Monique Matheson
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Nike

Monique Matheson is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Nike. NIKE, Inc., named for the Greek goddess of victory, is the world's leading designer, marketer, and distributor of authentic athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessories for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities. Operating segments for the Nike brand are North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Greater China, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Matheson oversees and drives the strategic global Human Resources strategy for NIKE, Inc. 

As Chief Human Resources Officer, she leads business growth and transformation through the lens of people—managing functions including recruitment, succession planning, learning and career development, diversity and inclusion, org effectiveness, employee engagement, pay and benefits, and employee relations. 

Previously, Matheson served as VP, chief talent and diversity officer. Since starting at Nike in 1998, she has held roles of increasing seniority, including VP and senior human resources business partner for North America, global product creation (for footwear, apparel, and equipment), global finance, and NIKE, Inc. affiliates. Prior to joining Nike, Matheson practiced employment law. She holds a JD from Indiana University, as well as an undergraduate degree in political science and government from the University of Washington.



15. Lana Baldock
Senior Vice President, CBRE

Lana Baldock specializes in office transactions in the Pacific Northwest. A Senior Vice President with CBRE, she has actively participated in over 1,200 lease and sale transactions representing more than 13.5 million square feet, with gross consideration of over $2.1 billion. Baldock has been involved in over 984,000 square feet of ground-up developments and has participated in office and office/flex property dispositions with a value of over $100 million. In addition to representing tenants in numerous markets across the US, Baldock is currently working on agency leasing assignments in Portland totaling approximately 1.7 million square feet.

Previously, Baldock was a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and before that, a VP at CB Richard Ellis, Inc. Ms. Baldock earned an undergraduate degree in sociology from Portland State University and holds the CCIM designation. She is an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and served as a co-chair of the CREW Careers Committee.



16. Melissa Damm
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - Central Division, Providence

Melissa Damm is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - Central Division of Providence. CBRE Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas, is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm (based on 2022 revenue). The company has more than 115,000 employees (excluding Turner & Townsend employees) serving clients in more than 100 countries. CBRE serves a diverse range of clients with an integrated suite of services, including facilities, transaction and project management; property management; investment management; appraisal and valuation; property leasing; strategic consulting; property sales; mortgage services, and development services. Damm has 28 years of experience. She began her career in 1995.

Before joining Providence, Damm was a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and before that, a vice president at CB Richard Ellis, Inc. Damm graduated from Portland State University with an undergraduate degree in sociology. She was also recognized as one of 40 Under 40 in the Portland Business Journal in 2019.



17. Julie Pylypczak
Vice President and Senior Client Solutions Director, Robert Half

Julie Pylypczak began her professional career 16 years ago. Today, she is the Vice President and Senior Client Solutions Director of Robert Half. Robert Half, the world's first and largest premier specialized talent solutions firm, connects opportunities at great companies with highly skilled job seekers. They offer contract, temporary, and permanent placement solutions for roles in finance and accounting, technology, marketing, creative, legal, administrative, and customer support. 

Pylypczak is an experienced CPA, formerly of Deloitte's audit and enterprise risk services practice in Chicago, IL, where she developed a deep understanding of business challenges in a variety of industries and environments. She now uses her technical background and strong interpersonal skills to help financial executives with their resourcing needs in Portland, Oregon. Pylypczak’s approach to staffing solutions is enhanced by a genuine enthusiasm for helping others, as evidenced by a track record of success and meaningful partnerships with her clients. 

Pylypczak first got her start in 2007 as a senior audit associate at Deloitte. Before eventually rising to board member at Portland YouthBuilders, her most recent position prior to joining Robert Half. Pylypczak graduated from DePaul University with an undergraduate degree in accounting.



18. Stephanie Pederson
Executive Business Partner, Strategy, Planning, and Optimization, Airbnb

Stephanie Pederson is the Executive Business Partner in Strategy, Planning, and Optimization of Airbnb. Airbnb was born in 2007 when two Hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home and has since grown to over 4 million Hosts who have welcomed over 1.5 billion guest arrivals in almost every country globally. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities more authentically. Pederson has 16 years of experience. She began her career in 2007.

Before joining Airbnb, Pederson was an executive assistant at LAIKA, LLC. Earlier in her career she worked with Brentwood Art Center as an office coordinator. Pederson graduated from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in business administration and management.



19. Elsa Shapiro, PhD
Managing Partner, Shapiro Neuropsychology Consulting LLC

Elsa Shapiro is the Managing Partner of Shapiro Neuropsychology Consulting LLC. She first joined the company in 2017 as a managing partner. Her expertise is in neurocognitive and behavioral outcomes for natural history studies and clinical trials. Shapiro is internationally known for research in neurocognitive and neurobehavioral manifestations of genetic neurodegenerative disorders, and also their relationship to neuroimaging and other surrogate markers. She has more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and invited chapters. She has been consulting on neurocognitive endpoints in patients with rare diseases for more than 10 years.  Her expertise is broad with special interests in lysosomal and peroxisomal diseases.

Dr. Shapiro also has a strong interest in the effects of poverty on the developing brain and previously led a large study of the effects of lead burden and other social and biological variables on the cognitive development of high-risk inner-city children and has consulted on the effects of cerebral malaria and HIV on neurodevelopment in African children.

In addition to her research, she founded the Pediatric Neuropsychology training program at the University of Minnesota in 1974, trained many post-doctoral fellows, and directed the autism program for several years. She has mentored 11 fellows and junior faculty in research in neurodegenerative diseases. She has conducted workshops and given lectures on cognitive and behavioral endpoints around the world, presented to the FDA and EMA, and was the 2017 WORLD symposia keynote presenter. In August of 2017, she was awarded the Visionary Leader Award by the National MPS Society of the US. Shapiro has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and took her internship and post-doctoral training at the National Children's Medical Center in Washington DC. She founded and directed (1974-2006) the pediatric neuropsychology division at the University of Minnesota.



20. Renee Edwards, M.D.
Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer OHSU Health, Oregon Health and Science University

Renee Edwards is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of OHSU Health at Oregon Health and Science University. At OHSU, they deliver breakthroughs for better health. They're driven by the belief that better health starts with innovations in the lab, in the classroom, at the bedside, and in their communities. From cancer to Alzheimer's to cardiovascular care, they collaborate every day to identify and deliver new ways to understand disease, treat illness, and train the next generation of scientists and health professionals. Edwards has 28 years of experience. She began her career in 1995.

Before joining Oregon Health and Science University, Edwards was an MD at Oregon Health & Science University. Earlier in her career she worked with Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke's Medical Center as an MD. Edwards graduated from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine with an MD, from Babson F.W. Before joining Palo Alto, Bianchi was a chief customer officer at Splunk and before that a VP of customer success at GE Digital, where she spent more than a decade, serving as the company’s vice president, leading growth strategy, services portfolio management, and renewal operations for its software business. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in product management, business development, services, marketing, and operations across industries, including aviation, power generation, and oil and gas.

Earlier in her career she worked with GE consumer and industrial as a sales and marketing digitization specialist. Bianchi graduated from Boston College Carroll School of Management with an MBA and from Ithaca College with an undergraduate degree in communications.

Previously, Doll was an interim CFO and executive director of finance at the University of Missouri Health Care and School of Medicine, and before that a Missouri research and education network director of fiscal and contractual services at the University of Missouri. Earlier in her career she worked with Deloitte as an audit manager and senior auditor. Doll earned an MPA from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Missouri State University.



25. Drieke Leenknegt

Luther is a senior executive and corporate officer with 25 years of executive and legal leadership experience. Her career has included significant involvement in board-level matters and governance, including in-depth knowledge of public company governance protocols and executive compensation practices. Most recently, she has transformed the HR organization and oversees people strategy for over 8,000 employees globally. Luther applies her experience in both corporate and civic organizations to achieve long-term value with an emphasis on becoming an inclusive and dynamic workplace where the growth of the business and organization supports the growth of its people.

28. Kathryn Correia
President and Chief Executive Officer, Legacy Health

Kathryn Correia is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Health. Now in her fifth year as Legacy Health's first woman president and chief executive officer, Correia understands the importance of setting the stage for other women leaders in the organization to continue to propel their careers. At Legacy Health, she makes it a priority to eliminate subtle and overt barriers for women. Correia’s experience in elevating women in the workplace crosses over to patient care, where she empowers Legacy leaders to advocate for underserved patients — especially those whose health disparities have been exasperated during the pandemic. Only 15.3% of hospital system chief executive officers are women who can leverage this same kind of connection between being part of an underrepresented group in the workforce and championing the needs of disadvantaged groups in health care.

29. Joy Fowler
Chief Diversity and Equity Officer, Multnomah County

Joy Fowler began her professional career 22 years ago. Today, she is the Chief Diversity and Equity Officer of Multnomah County. At Multnomah County, the organization's top priority is to meet the many needs of its residents. They provide a wide array of essential services including health, community justice, roads, elections, libraries, jails, bridges, tax and assessment, marriage licenses, animal services, passports, mental health and addiction services, and more. 

As Multnomah County’s Chief Diversity and Equity Officer (CDEO) she is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the County’s equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts, both those related to internal systems and culture as well as community-facing policies and programs. She serves as an advisor to the Chair and a member of the leadership team, and ensures that equity and inclusion are infused in the county’s culture, strategies, and goals. She also supports the effective implementation of critical equity-centered programs within the Office of Diversity and Equity, ensuring that in collaboration with youth, community members, employees, and equity practitioners, the County continues forward progress towards dismantling systemic racism and becoming a more racially just and equitable organization.

Before joining Multnomah County, Fowler was a senior diversity manager at Port of Portland and before that a VP of diversity and inclusion manager at Umpqua Bank. Fowler graduated from Portland State University School of Business with an MBA.



30. Amy Hook

31. Emily Moen
Vice President & Senior Healthcare Client Solutions Manager, Umpqua Bank

Emily Moen began her professional career 13 years ago. Today, she is the Vice President and Senior Healthcare Client Solutions Manager of Umpqua Bank. Moen first got her start in 2010 as a portfolio monitoring analyst II at the US Bank. From there, she went on to Wells Fargo, before eventually rising to VP and healthcare portfolio manager in corporate banking at the US Bank, her most recent position prior to joining Umpqua Bank. Moen graduated from Linfield University with an undergraduate degree in finance.



32. Susi Proudman
Chief Executive Officer, Rose & William Consulting

Raised in the UK, Proudman received her undergraduate degree in textile management at the University of Leeds, and kick-started her career in various commercial and supply chain roles with Mark and Spencer. There, being one of the very few women bolstered her ambitious spirit and efforts to empower the industry. She then developed end-to-end capabilities so she could drive the change she envisioned. 

Driven to gain a more diverse experience across all aspects of the global supply chain, Proudman transitioned to Canadian-based brands, Lululemon and Aritzia, and delved further into the global field. Then with an expanded breadth of knowledge, she moved to Nike in Oregon which is where she now calls home. After being introduced to the North American approach, she contributed global insights to implement key product and material innovations that transformed their signature styles. 

After 7 years, she joined Allbirds as their chief product officer and helped create the product and innovative vision by incorporating strategies that expanded their product lineup and expedited their sustainable manufacturing processes. Her diverse and comprehensive experience propelled her initiative to develop her own consultancy, and in 2021, Rose & William was born. Passion drives her work, alongside an eagerness to share her extensive insights and activate the dreams of anyone looking to scale their business.



33. Katrina Tanner
Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Tokyo Electron US

Katrina Tanner is the Senior Human Resources Business Partner of Tokyo Electron US. She first joined the company in 2021. Since its founding in 1963, TEL has grown to encompass many offices around the world that engineer, manufacture, sell, and service wafer-processing or semiconductor production equipment (SPE), as well as flat panel display (FPD) and thin-film silicon photovoltaic equipment (PVE). As the world market share leader in several product lines, TEL plays a key role in the evolving global semiconductor industry.

Previously, Tanner was an assistant director of human resources at Reed College and before that a company partner in facilitation, consulting, and training at Global Inclusion Consulting. Earlier in her career she worked with Benton County as a human resources recruitment coordinator. Tanner earned a PhD from Louisiana State University and an undergraduate degree in human development in family studies and individual development from Oregon State University.



34. Stefanie Kondor
Senior Vice President of Development, Related Northwest

As Senior Vice President of Development for Related Northwest, Kondor is responsible for establishing Related’s presence in the Northwest while leading and managing all aspects of development and financing for affordable developments.

Prior to joining Related, Kondor was director of real estate development for Central City Concern where she managed the land acquisition, entitlements, and due diligence process for the development of new clinical and affordable housing in Portland, Oregon. While at CCC, she was a recipient of Housing Oregon’s Star Player Award in 2017 and led her development team named as top affordable housing developer by the Daily Journal of Commerce for 2018. She developed award-winning projects receiving the prestigious AIA/AAH design award for Healthcare Design, as well as the Novogradac New Market Tax Credit QLICI of the Year for her development of the Blackburn Center. As a senior asset manager for Bayside Communities, she managed a portfolio of more than 60 multifamily properties throughout the West Coast including senior housing, assisted living, low-income housing, and HUD communities.

Kondor is a resident of Washington County and works in Portland, Oregon. She holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and sits on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Portland. She is a member of PSU’s Real Estate Advisory Board and a Portland Housing Advisory Committee Commissioner.

Prior to that role, she led the leased railcar syndication team as assistant vice president of structured finance for Greenbrier Companies in Portland. 39. Lisa Kim

Lisa Kim began her professional career 28 years ago. Today, she is the Senior Vice President and GM of KEEN. Founded in 2003, KEEN ignited a revolution in the footwear industry with the introduction of the Newport sandal, launching the concept of Hybrid footwear into the market and setting KEEN on a path of driving consistent product innovation that exists today. 

Kim is a successful strategic business & people leader with a strong reputation for cross-functional collaboration, team development, and alignment of strategic direction for business units, sales teams, and company brand.

Kim first got her start in 1995 as a retail manager at Nordstrom. From there, she went on to Adidas, before eventually rising to VP of wholesale in Americas at Dr. Martens, her most recent position prior to joining KEEN. Kim graduated from Willamette University with an MBA and from the University of Oregon with an undergraduate degree in business administration.



40. Laura Szeliga
President, Stumptown Coffee Roasters

Laura Szeliga has been the President of Stumptown Coffee Roasters since December 2020.  Stumptown Coffee is a leading 3rd Wave Coffee roaster based in Portland, Oregon with roasting operations in Portland and New York City, and a growing omni channel business including 8 cafes, wholesale, eCommerce, and CPG segments.  

Laura has over 25 years of experience building iconic brands and high-performing teams across a number of different consumer-driven businesses. She has held marketing and general management roles of increasing responsibility across eCommerce, CPG, and restaurants, largely focused on food and beverage. Prior to joining Stumptown, Laura was the CMO at Papa Murphy's Take & Bake Pizza and early in her career, she spent 16 years at Kraft Foods in Brand Management in the Beverages and Desserts Divisions.

Laura holds an undergraduate degree in consumer economics from the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.



41. Ivory Mathews
Chief Executive Officer, Home Forward

Ivory Mathews is the Chief Executive Officer of Home Forward. Home Forward is a public corporation. They contract with the federal government to administer housing programs, and operate independently with their Board of Commissioners, like the Port of Portland. They are led by a nine-member volunteer citizen commission. Home Forward is known as a premier provider of affordable housing and a leader in taking bold steps and shattering the status quo.

Mathews has 27 years of experience. She began her career in 1996. Mathews oversees an annual budget of $315 million serving 18,000 households, a team of 370 plus employees, a housing portfolio of more than 7,000 apartments, and the administration of a variety of rent assistance programs, including 11,859 Housing Choice Vouchers, a short-term rent assistance program that consolidates funding from several different sources and provides assistance through 19 social service partners; and partnerships with more than 100 community organizations. 

Before joining Home Forward, Mathews was a CEO at Columbia Housing, and before that an executive director and president at the Housing Authority of the City of Greenville, Re-Development Corporation. Earlier in her career she worked with Aiken Technical College as a job developer and counselor. Mathews also held leadership positions at the Housing Authority of the City of Aiken, Augusta Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, Lower Savannah Council of Governments, and USC-School of Social Work & Specialty Clinic/Social Work Solutions, Inc. Ivory has a strong track record of implementing strategic initiatives and fostering partnerships with various stakeholders in the housing industry. Mathews graduated from Troy University with an MS and from Newberry College with an undergraduate degree in sociology. She has also completed the coursework in pursuit of her PhD in Public Policy and Administration.

As part of long-term, strategic succession planning, as Weeden transitions into the role of Chief Strategy Officer, she will focus on the long-term strategy for Propeller, competitive positioning, partnerships, and other key strategic projects. Weeden will continue to remain as co-owner and chair of Propeller’s board. Amy is also a sought-after and respected advisor to C-suite and VP-level business leaders at some of the US’s most recognizable and global companies on a wide range of issues including organizational performance, culture, talent acquisition, and strategic execution.

Weeden first got her start in 1998 as a manager of international practice at Watson Wyatt. From there, she went on to PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a senior manager and global human resources practice, her most recent position prior to joining Propeller. Weeden graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business with an MBA and from World College West with an undergraduate degree in international development.

She leads the firm's West Coast EBP practice, works within Deloitte's national center of excellence in the development of audit tools and resources, and delivers industry training globally. Henry earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Puget Sound. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.



44. Kim McCarty
Executive Director, Community Alliance Of Tenants

Kim McCarty is committed to addressing the struggles of renters in Oregon. Central to that struggle are systemic and historic barriers to housing, and economic and environmental injustice faced by people of color, women, indigenous communities, the LGBTQ community, and people with disabilities. Kim has served as the Executive Director of the Community Alliance of Tenants since 2020. Formed in 1996, the Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT) is Oregon’s only statewide, grassroots, tenant-controlled, tenant-rights organization. The mission of CAT is to educate and empower tenants to demand safe, stable, and affordable rental homes because housing is the basis of a strong community. 

Kim leads CAT’s efforts to bring tenants together to organize and collectively advocate for fair and equal protection in housing practices and policies. Kim believes that CAT’s model of community engagement, education, and advocacy works to empower renters to make the changes they need. She is excited by her role in helping CAT grow its staff, and influence and reach more Oregonians.

Kim’s career includes community organizing, contract management, and policy development. She has a wide range of housing sector experience including affordable housing development, property management, and housing policy with a focus on renters and fair housing. Kim has spent over 13 years at the City of Portland in various housing development and service roles, including the Rental Services Office Manager at the Portland Housing Bureau. In her role at the Portland Housing Bureau, she increased the number of rental service providers, sought partnerships with culturally specific providers, initiated innovative services, and focused providers on improving access and delivery of services to the black, indigenous, Latinx, and all people of color communities. In all of her work, Kim brings the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion. She plans to build on these values with the passionate tenant advocates in Oregon.



45. Karen Donovan

Donovan graduated from George Fox University with an undergraduate degree in management and organizational leadership.



46. Sara Rosumny

Sara Rosumny began her professional career 13 years ago. Today, she is the Client Manager and Executive Director of Commercial Term Lending at JPMorgan Chase. She is responsible for providing commercial real estate professionals with term financing solutions from $1 million to $25+ million for the purchase or refinance of stabilized industrial, retail, office, and mixed-use commercial investment properties. For over 200 years, JPMorgan Chase & Co. has provided innovative financial solutions for consumers, small businesses, corporations, governments, and institutions around the world. Today, they're a leading global financial services firm with operations servicing clients in more than 100 countries.

Rosumny first got her start in 2010 as a customer service representative at Fullerton and Company. From there, she went on to US Bank, before eventually rising to VP and business bank officer at Bank of the West, her most recent position prior to joining JPMorgan Chase. Rosumny graduated from the University of Oregon with an undergraduate degree in business.



47. Jessica Johnston
Senior Director of Public Policy & Engagement, Nike

Jessica Johnston began her professional career 20 years ago. Today, she is the Senior Director of Public Policy & Engagement at Nike, working alongside the government and public affairs team to inspire and drive public policy to unlock Nike’s potential. NIKE, Inc., named for the Greek goddess of victory, is the world's leading designer, marketer, and distributor of authentic athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessories for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities. 

Johnston first got her start in 2003 as a program associate at Media Plus Consulting. From there, she went on to the Corporate Executive Board, before eventually rising to deputy chief of staff at the Office of Reid Hoffman, her most recent position prior to joining Nike. Johnston graduated from Columbia | SIPA with an MPA and from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in political science and Spanish. She is also on the board of directors for Portland’s Friends of the Children.



48. Sarah Olbekson
Senior Director and Regional Human Resources Business Partner, Skanska

Sarah Olbekson is the Senior Director and Regional Human Resources Business Partner of Skanska. She is responsible for leading overall HR strategy through talent management, workforce programs, recruitment, and employee engagement for Skanska in Oregon and Washington. She first joined the company in 2019 as director of human resources business partner. At Skanska, they build for a better society. From hospitals to stadiums, airports to corporate headquarters, and power plants to tunnels and bridges, the important buildings and infrastructure they create help heal, transport, entertain, and energize communities. 

Olbekson is a solution-oriented talent acquisition manager and human resources professional with the ability to influence leadership by effectively communicating across the business. She is highly skilled in relationship management, applicant tracking systems (ATS), leadership, and project management. Her extensive experience ranges from start-ups to small businesses to large corporate settings.

Previously, Olbekson was a talent acquisition manager & HRBP at Hanna Andersson and before that a VP of talent at inDinero. Earlier in her career she worked with Logistics Coordinator as an enterprise rent-a-car. Olbekson earned an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Oregon.



49. Kerry Hutsell
Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, The Standard

Kerry Hutsell began her professional career 28 years ago. Today, she is the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at The Standard. The Standard is a leading provider of financial products and services, including group and individual disability insurance, group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, group dental and vision insurance, group accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity insurance, paid family leave and absence management services, retirement plans services and individual annuities. 

Hutsell is a human resources leader with twenty years of experience in helping organizations realize their potential, through practical, focused people strategies. As a pragmatic, solutions-oriented leader, she partnered with other leaders to develop talent in their organization, from talent acquisition, sourcing, and media management, to ensuring organizations have the right talent in the right seats, at the right time. 

Hutsell first got her start in 1995 as a human resources and staffing at Intel Corp. Hutsell graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with an MS and from Mount Mary University with an undergraduate degree in behavioral science.



50. Nina Church-Adams

Nina Church-Adams is the Senior Director and Global Partner of Performance and Solution Marketing at Slalom. She first joined the company in 2021. Church-Adams is a senior marketing leader with more than 15 years of experience building teams, products, and brands at B2B SaaS start-ups as well as Fortune 100 companies. She is a right and left-brain marketer who delights equally in the creative process as well as the nuts and bolts of planning and execution needed to deliver operational success from launching new brands to driving demand generation engines. She has held progressively more senior leadership roles at Nike and American Express, as well as multiple head of marketing roles at Finastra, the third largest FinTech company in the world. Church-Adams brings forth her significant experience leading global, cross-functional, marketing organizations in fast-growing companies.

Previously, Church-Adams was a VP of marketing at AskNicely and before that an SVP of marketing at Act-On Software, Inc. Earlier in her career she worked with American Express as a manager of charge card product management. She earned an MS from the University of the West of England and an undergraduate degree in sociology from Georgetown University.
