Gwyneth Paltrow has taken home numerous wins over the course of her life, most recently her legal victory in the ski crash trial that dominated the media for several days. On Thursday, March 30, 2023, a jury sided with the award-winning actress, saying she was not at fault for a 2016 collision at Utah’s Deer Valley Resort that injured a retired optometrist.

Terry Sanderson filed a lawsuit against Paltrow for $300,000, alleging that her reckless downhill skiing caused her to collide with him from behind on February, 26th of 2016. Sanderson said he suffered four broken ribs, a concussion, and lasting brain damage that affected his daily life and personal relationships. Paltrow, who has repeatedly denied running into Sanderson, countersued for $1 and her legal fees.
